Oreo, one of the most recognized cookies ever, finally released a gluten-free collection! With flavors like Peanut Butter Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, and Birthday Cake, it’s about time they drop this collection. Two different packs of Oreos were released, the classic and double stuff. When I first heard about the news, I was excited yet skeptical. I have tried almost every GF cookie, and it is rare for the consistency to match regular cookies. Usually, the cookie crumbles before it makes it to my mouth, or I can immediately tell it’s gluten-free if you know what I mean. Needless to say, when I got my hands on a double stuffed pack, I was pleasantly surprised. There is no difference; I repeat, they are identical to the classic Oreo containing gluten!! Another surprising fact is that for all classic Oreos, including gluten-free, the middle cream part is dairy-free. The new collection dropped this month and is now available in both grocery stores and online. And do not fret; Nabisco (owner of Oreo) has made these cookies part of the permanent line!
